This magazine is (fairly densely) packed with good Wilderlands material. Highlights include an excellent overview of the Wilderlands, an article detailing the Invincible Overlord and his family, and an updated version of the Elven tree village of Esgalbar. There are also several very good short pieces covering such things as new monsters, treasures, and gods. The weakest entry is the Maze of the Mad Mage, which is, as one would expect, an old school maze-style dungeon. It's not badly done, but it is the sort of impossible-to-map exercise in frustration that I don't enjoy playing or refereeing. Others, of course, may find it more to their liking.
Hopefully, more issues will eventually be released, and hopefully they will be as good as this one.
