another finale that the PC's must work well together with. This could have easily turned into a TPK had not one of the PC's at the table done the noble thing and save them due to his Racial Ability. Well written and fun to DM.

Well put together Mod. I think the Death Curse seems to put some of my groups into a frenzy of, "what should I do? Will it get me killed?" This actually makes me laugh as a DM because while it takes longer for the PC's to make a decision. The reaction of relief when nothing bad happens when they thought it would is hilarious.

I really enjoyed watching the characters reaction while they were playing this mod. I think the final fight could have been more difficult, but players are overpowered by this time anyway.

I ran this mod a couple of times and each with a different result. I had my first ever TPK with this mod, but the players still liked how it was presented. They just didn't have the right make up in the group to successfully go up against the first real encounter.

Other groups have been scared of it after my TPK, but it was done well by others after that.

I did not get to run this as an intro Mod, I actually ran it as a filler. The players were in the tomb and wanted the XP to make it to Level 8 which required 4000. Well, I figured it would be great to let them each have 5k in one night instead of sharing what might or might not get them to the level they wanted. In the tomb, the PC's had "succombed" to a gas that put them in a dream state. This threw them into the mods and they actually had a lot of fun with it. I portrayed giving them the gold as a reward in a chest that was magically delivered by the trickster gods.

I liked this mod. Definitely had the party thinking of what to look for. Need to have at least one experienced player though. It can get rough for new players if they don'thave guidance.

The flow was well enough to run at a con cold. The party enjoyed the play of it, so that made it enjoyable to me.

I had a great time running this mod. The party I ran it with started to get paranoid about everything. They needed DM intervention to get the mod done, but they still had fun. I don't know if I will get the same enjoyment after running it once....I guess it depends on the party and how they approach it.

I ran this cold. It read well enough, and the quick back to back little side adventures were a nice touch. The table I ran enjoyed the quick thinking requried to get it done. I ran a table of three players of level 3-4. They handled the encounters well enough without modificiation.

The tone set for this adventure appealed to my table when I first ran it. They weren't too thrilled about the story award, but the eventuality of it had been warned to them before if they decided to play CoS mods. All in all, the story was written well enough and the table wished to continue in the storyline.

great storylines to go along with the book release. all my players had fun. i ran at two different locations, but only was able to run final mod once. i had a great time seeing new players learn the mechanics of the game and seeing how the parties workedogether.

I had a lot of fun with this one. I ran at a CON, not knowing it could be played as an EPIC. Well, two of my party members were first timers to test the gameplay of 5e. They wanted to do their own thing and split the party. After the rest of the table decided they couldo as they wished, it became an adventure for me. 5 members of the party continued on to main storyline, 2 stayed behind to fortify the town.

While the party did not finish the mod in time, the split actually ended up helping more than hurting on final battle.

If you ever have the chance to run it as a solo DM EPIC, I suggest plenty of water and headache medicine!

The party I ran this MOD for at a con had a great time with it.

I now have a Cleric party member who is obsessed with trying to find a way to trade for the magic item given.

I ran this cold because of a bad decision. I purchased the mod to run at a convention, but didn't study it enough to run it as well as i would have liked. Thankfully, I had an understanding table who was grateful to even have anyone run for them.

As far as gameplay, I think it ran smoothly. Maybe the size of areas could have been larger? I felt like there should have been more room for the Giants.

Great experience overall for my first ever attempt to DM higher than tier 1.

loved running this adventure. have run it 3 times so far and have had different outcomes each time. Even had 1 party surrender.

I don't know if it has been updated yet, but the dragonshields are not officially in the dungeon or in the party strength sidebars. i have placed them as Sik's bodyguards. Is that where they are supposed to go?
